- Jesus Bueno Mapili had passed away peacefully at the age of 86. He is survived by his wife Celia Mapili, his children: Maria, Virgil, Manolo and Edgardo, and his grandchildren: Christopher and Stephanie. Jesus was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He will be dearly missed by everyone.

One of my fondest memory and will greatly missed of Daddy Jess is whenever I arrive earlier at any family gathering than my sister (Li) , Daddy Jess would always greet me with "where is your kambal (twin). My usual reply was "Hi Joy or I'm here or how about me?"

Jesus Bueno Mapili
Husband to Celia Angeles, father to 4 children, Maria Rosario Charito Fernandez (Rusty), Virgilio Noel (Joanna), Manolo Johnny, and Edgardo (Marianne), grandchildren, Christopher and Stephanie, Christopher and Candice Taguibao.
Jesus has lived a full life with loving family and friends and no regrets. Born in the Philippines March 20, 1932. He is one of 10 siblings. Moved to Canada in 1974 and his wife and kids soon followed after.
Fishing was his passion. He enjoyed fishing in numerous locations but, he enjoyed it mostly at the family cottage he bought for himself and for the family and friends to enjoy.
The remaining families and friends will move on but will never forget him through the rest of their living life.
We will all miss him but never forget him
