Obituary of Mr. Bernard "BG" Brown

Bernard was a protector and had so much love to give.  He was the fourth child of five children and the last of three boys.  Father to five children, four sons and one daughter who will continue his legacy.  

He lived life by his own rules.  As a child, he had a spontaneous and fearless nature. There wasn’t an adventure he wouldn’t run towards. As an adult, he became more reserved, but he never lost his passion to go after life his way. 

Those who were close to Bernard know how much he adored his mother.  He talked to her as much as he could and was fiercely protective of her.  They had such an unbreakable bond.  Being the kind of person who lived by his own rules he certainly gave both of his parents more trouble than they bargained for.   However, there was no question the love he had for them. 

His siblings will be the first to say that there was never a dull moment having Bernard as a brother. He was a very funny and witty brother. He always knew what to say to make everyone laugh. What jokes to tell to keep everyone entertained.  

He was also a loving boyfriend who lived with his girlfriend for many years.  He did everything he could to always make her smile.  They were inseparable and when they had their daughter it was a dream come true for both of them.  It was clear to see how much Bernard loved her, they have the kind of love that never ends.

His recent and most important role to him was as a father. There was nothing he wouldn’t do to make his children happy. “I Can’t” was never in his vocabulary, there was always a way.  Some of the happiest moments were when he would spend time with them.  

Sadly, Bernard left his loved ones too soon due to a car accident on May 10, 2018.
