Memories with a.k.a. Peter Waugh
Our paths crossed as kids in Manchester when you would bring oranges sent from your grandmother Miss Mavis to my grandaunt Ms Ellen. I remember the time you and Bobby scared us kids to death as we were getting a tree from the pine forest. Little did I know at the time that we were close cousins.
Coming to Canada, you were my all knowing ever wise big cousin. As a teen I introduced you to my friend Primrose; we went on picnics and you gave me my first driving lesson. It changed all of our lives. When I saw you in 2016 in Orlando we visited Cousin Betty and spent hours talking. You supported me
by coming to see my play on stage. I’ll miss your smile, your
laughter and your “ Easy Like Sunday Morning” demeanour. You’ll always be in my heart Peter.
