I had the opportunity to work with Susan years ago, albeit mostly through email and the occasional phone call during my time in Scarborough. At that time, I knew her as only to be a super-knowledgeable “systems guru”. When I began working at regional office that I had the opportunity to put a face to the name and know her a little. She was kind and gentle and always stopped in the hall for a quick chat and a smile when I came upon her. Susan—your smile and gentle nature will be missed. Deepest sympathies to the family.

I am saddened to learn of Susan's death. I was friends with her for many years when we worked together. We enjoyed each other's company and I appreciated all the help she gave me when we entered the computer age. Did see her occasionally at Holy Spirit church and had a short chat.
My condolences to her sister and family.

Susan and I met a few years ago when I worked at RHQ. She was so generous, helpful and kind; sharing her knowledge and helping me whenever I had a question. Best of all her many lovely qualities was her infectious delight in simple things. Who could resist her when she appeared at my cubicle with a serious face and said that it was a day which called for ice cream. Off we would go for a therapeutic ice cream and much giggling. In fact, Susan and I often got helplessly laughing and I will treasure those memories very much. My condolences and prayers to her family.

It is with a sad heart that I heard about Susan's passing. When I started my government career in Scarborough, I had the pleasure of working beside Susan, and she really taught me all I needed to know about processing. Together we joined RHQ and continued to work together, sharing lots of good times and giggles. I even remember that Susan took me to my first Blue Jays game, when they were still playing at the CNE Grand Stand. I have many fond memories of this lovely and caring and witty woman. My sincerest condolences to her family. I will miss you Susan. Rest in peace.
