Alexander, Harold Hardie

September 24, 1926 – April 18, 2018

On April 18, 2018, Harold H. Alexander, after a special Resurrection Easter at home with family members, and a night in hospital, peacefully made a transition. His eyes seemed to suddenly embrace the wonder of being welcomed to heaven, as he joined that great cloud of witnesses with his heavenly family, parents Arthur James and Mary (Hardie) Alexander, first wife Betty (Doner), and siblings Louise, Ernest and Ken. Lovingly remembered by wife Claire (née Hunt); Elizabeth & Kim (Isaac, Julian); Craig (Arielle & Marcel, Daniella), (Timothy & Louise); Joan; Maria; Sharon (Shelby, Matthew, Aaron) & Mark; Irene & Joel (Mariane); and cherished relatives and friends beyond number. This spring, let’s pass forward sparkling facets of his unrivalled joy as you share a living plant, or “a cup of cold water” (Matthew 10:42).

The family will receive friends at the Ogden Funeral Home, 4164 Sheppard Ave. E., Scarborough on Saturday, April 28 from 11 a.m with a service in the Ogden Chapel at 1 p.m. Reception to follow.
