Obituary of Mrs. Brahas Singh

It is with great sadness that the family of Brahas Singh (née Lalji) announces her passing on Sunday, March 25, 2018, at the age of 70 years. Brahas was known for her kindness, generosity, work ethic, and love of travel.

Brahas is lovingly remembered by her husband of 50 years, Sant Amar, and their children, Sanjay and Vashti, their spouses, Karla and Simon, and her grandchildren, Jag and Asha, her brother, Dharmindra, and her nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Sumintra and Lallgie Bhoop Singh, her sister, Chandrawattie, and brother, Dheren.

We will gather at the Vedic Cultural Centre (14th and Kennedy) in Markham on Thursday March 29 from 6:30 to 9pm. The viewing will take place at Ogden Funeral Homes (Sheppard and Midland) in Scarborough on Friday from 6 to 9pm. The funeral services occur on Saturday at 8:30am at Ogden Funeral Homes with the cremation to follow. Following the cremation, we will have a reception at the Vedic Cultural Centre for a light lunch.
