To the family of Robert (Bob) Stanfield I express sadness upon hearing of his passing. Condolences to his immediate family, his descendants and those close to him whom he loved and counted as friends.
I was a class mate of Robert's from 1955 to 1959 in Chemical Engineering studies at the University of Toronto. and shared many pleasant memories as we sometimes struggled but almost always enjoyed the experiences. Robert attended some of our scheduled reunions during which time we had opportunities to touch base and refresh those shared moments. His sense of humour was appreciated by those of us who interacted with him. He was a good man and he will be missed.
