Obituary of Mr. Douglas Rea

Please share a memory of Mr. Douglas to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

It is with great sadness that we announce of passing of Douglas Rea on February 24, 2018 at Centenary Hospital with his family by his side.  He was only a few days shy of his 97th birthday.  Loving father of Barbara and the late Robert. Cherished grandfather of Corey and Amanda Hooper. Predeceased by his wife Margaret, brother John Rea and sister Alberta Eversfield.  Friend and companion to Dorothy Moat. Doug served his country in the RCAF during WWII.  He was a Honorary Life Member of The Toronto Real Estate Board, longtime member of Scarboro G&CC and The Royal Canadian Legion. He was passionate about his family, friends, golf and curling and had a real zest for life.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Thursday March 1, 2018 from 10 a.m. -12 p.m. and  2-4 p.m., followed by a Memorial Service at Ogden Funeral Home (4164 Sheppard Ave. E., at Midland).  In lieu of flowers, donations to the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 258, would be appreciated.
