Please accept my belated condolences as I only just heard about Greg's passing. I have fond memories of working with him at the Zoo. He was calm, respectful of his colleagues and a good problem solver. A good life well-lived.
Greg was a pleasure to know. His son, John was in the same class as my brother, Ross back when our family lived on Reesor Rd. Greg advised me to apply for a job at the zoo which started my long career at MTZ as one of their first zookeepers. This was way back in 1972, before the zoo opened to the public. Our deepest sympathy to his family.
A gentle soul and gentleman. We both have such good memories of our interactions with Greg, and also enjoy our shared memories of life in the Gate House and Valley Halla overlooking the Little Rouge. Our thoughts are with Doddi and the boys.
