It is with heartfelt sorrow that we mourn the loss of an “old friend.”
To the Lue-Fung’s and their extended family, please accept our sincere condolences on the passing of Albert, husband, father, father- in- law , brother and grandfather.
54 years ago when I met Albert in England while Shirley and I were batch mates in nursing, I found him charming, funny and he had the biggest unforgettable smile. Years later when we reconnected in Canada, the years and distance had not change the friendship. Albert was the same and charming as ever. I am grateful for the years and times my husband and I shared with Shirley and Albert in Scarborough. My friend, I’ll always remember your beautiful smile and your silver fox look. From now on, whenever I make creme brûlée I’ll always think of you.
To the family I would like to use a quote from Rabindindranth Tagore , the Hindu Poet:
“ Say not in grief that he is no mor , but say in thankfulness that he was...A death is not extinguishing of a light, but the putting out of the candle because the dawn has come.”
Rest In Peace my friend.
May you all find solace and comfort as you grieve your loss.
