Although the day has passed I write this to wish you a Happy Mother's Day. I knew the day would come and I did everything in my power to avoid everything related to it. How could I celebrate Mother's Day without the one woman I wanted to celebrate it with the most?? A question I will ask myself for many years to come.

Graham, I was so shocked to learn of Marguerita's passing when I visited our dialysis family on Jan. 25! Marguerita endured much with the various surgeries, but had a positive attitude about them. She is now enjoying the Lord's presence, free of pain and suffering. The many wonderful memories you made together will always live in your heart. May the Lord continue to comfort, encourage, and strengthen you, as only He can.

Marguerita was so strong. My lasting memory of her is her smile and cheerful heart. Every time she returned from another procedure, she was always happy to fight another day. I'm fortunate to have shared many smiles and laughs with her.
