Obituary of Ms. Elizabeth Ling

In loving memory of Elizabeth.

At Markham Stouffville Hospital on the morning of Saturday December 23, 2017, Elizabeth passed away peacefully in her sleep.  Elizabeth had just celebrated her 103^rd birthday one week earlier. Beloved mother of Lorna, Enid, and Lucille, loving grandmother to Lennox, Fazia, Hayden, Kem, Aldric, Joy, Ian, Debbie, Brian, and Nicole. She was the dear sister of Norman, Irene and James and she was predeceased by them. She was thought of fondly by her sibling’s children, Cecil, Simeon, Yvonne, and Marva. She is predeceased by her parents, James Ling and Adora Gould.  She will be fondly remembered by her great-grandchildren, Tamara, Tanya, Martin, Mark, Wesley, Brandon, Danielle, Jessica, Christopher, Jhanelle, Shanelle, Stephan, Natalie, Johanna, William, her great-great grandchildren, and the rest of her family and friends. To know Elizabeth was to love her. She was kind, she had a good sense of humour, and she loved to dance. She was devoted to her family and she enjoyed life. She was a dedicated member of St. Timothy’s Anglican Church.

Visitation will be held at Ogden Funeral Home, 4164 Sheppard Avenue East, Scarborough, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Service and reception arrangements have been made to commemorate Elizabeth’s life starting at 11:00 a.m on Friday December 29, at St. Timothy’s Anglican Church, Scarborough, 4125 Sheppard Avenue East, Scarborough, ON M1S 1T1, (416) 293-5711.
