Obituary of Mrs. Gracie D'Cruz

Gracie Filomena D'Cruz passed away peacefully December 23, 2017 at Scarborough General Hospital at the age of 80, after a sudden stroke. Devoted wife of Cecil for over 50 years. Loving mother of Sharon (Paul LaPointe), Gregory, and Austen (Cheryl). Cherished grandmother of Jude, Aurora and Jeremiah. Loving daughter to P.A. De Souza (late) and Laurina De Souza (late). Devoted Sister to Annie (late) and Manu D’Cruz (late), Prisca and Chico Da Cruz (late), Blanche (late) and Joe and Lydia De Souza. Gracie will be sadly missed by her family and friends.  Her gentle nature and warm smile will be missed by all.  Visitation will be held at Ogden Funeral Homes, Scarborough, 4164 Sheppard Avenue East. Viewings will be held on Friday December 29th, 2017 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, December 30th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Parish, 3216 Lawrence Avenue East. Burial at Christ the King, 7770 Steeles Ave East. In lieu of flowers, donations to the St. Vincent de Paul Society would be appreciated.
