I was very sorry to hear of Dick's passing.
He hired me to teach at Seneca in 1980. He was welcoming and supportive, and a model for how managers should interact with those they work with. And he was prepared to defend his teaching staff when some of them crossed swords with senior managers, who did not begin to approach him in terms of integrity, honesty and decency.
