Obituary of Katherine Jobson

Katherine Lois Jobson (nee Green)

September 23, 1928 – December 10, 2017

In her ninetieth year, Katherine passed away peacefully at home with her son and daughter by her side. Beloved and devoted wife of 46 years to David. Cherished mother of Frances and John, grandmother of Brian Gregory (B.G.), and great grandmother of Westley. One of seven children, she is aunt to several nieces and nephews. A volunteer and active member of her community for decades, she was a fixture at the Home & School, library, and as a monitor for the schoolyard and field trips. Recognized for her 25 years of service with the Canadian Cancer Society, and for her work as a volunteer at Bendale Acres. She will be fondly remembered by her family, friends, and neighbours. Memorial Services will be held at OGDEN FUNERAL HOME, 4164 Sheppard Avenue East (west of Midland Avenue), (416) 293-5211, on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 4:30pm (visitation from 3:30pm). In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to The Canadian Cancer Society, or the Lung Association.
