Obituary of Frances Cicchine

Fran passed away peacefully at home on the morning of December 9, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Toronto, Ontario where she lived her entire life.

Family was very important to her. Fran dedicated herself to her three boys, Michael (Dara-Lee), Rick (Jennifer) and Vince.

Predeceased by her husband, Howard and sisters, Dolly, Rose and Nancy. She leaves behind her sister Jean, three sons and daughters-in-law, six grandchildren, Tricia (Terry Gardner), Preston (Janna), Shane (Susie), Sarah, Michaela and Nicholas, five great-grandchildren Grayson, Jaxson, Sutter, Xander and Maxwell, along with many nieces and nephews who loved Aunty Franny for her smile, laughter and interest in all of them.

Our family is immensely grateful for the wonderful care from all the Personal Support Workers, Caregivers, Nurses and Doctors who took care of Mom over the past two years.

Mom will be forever missed and remembered for putting others first and for her love of her family.

Friends and family can pay their respects at Ogden Funeral Home, 4164 Sheppard Ave E, Scarborough on Saturday, December 16, 2017,  Visitation at 2:00pm, Service at 3:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations will be gratefully received on behalf of the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
