Bhagavad Geeta Chapter 3 Verse 21 states: yad yad ācharati śhreṣhṭhas tat tad evetaro janaḥ
sa yat pramāṇaṁ kurute lokas tad anuvartate
Whatever a Great Man does, that other men also do (imitate); whatever is His standard, that the world (people) follows.
Padarat Ramnarayan, was known to many in the village of Huis-T-Dieren as Overseer Cha-Cha, He had a deep conviction in the principles of "Dharma" and I personally would endorse that his adherence to "Dharma"and its practice impacted on the lives of many in some way or the other..His life was indeed exemplary; humble, courteous, benevolent, soft spoken; qualities of a good human being.
It is said that the fragrance of a flower flows with the direction of the wind but the goodness of a man flows in all directions. He was always willing to help anyone in whatever was his or need, young or old. Since knowing him, maybe 60 years ago, he always maintained calmness in his duties as an Overseer in Local Government, a Mandir Leader, and a Hindu Priest.
May his soul be completely liberated and attain everlasting peace.
