Obituary of Meresha Barrette

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Meresha Barrette, in her 96th year, on Thursday, November 30, 2017. Meresha was the first born of 9 siblings which had all pre-deceased her. The last surviving sibling passed away a few weeks ago.  A woman who loved God, a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a friend to so many.  She leaves behind her three Children Errol Asphealt (Jennifer), Girda (Ansel) Herra (nee Bartley), and Lesma (Arthur) Wint (nee Bartley).  Her eleven Grandchildren Leasa Asphealt, Karen Herah, Kevin (Joan) Asphealt, Kesha Wint, Kimberly-Anne Wint, Sheryl (Tim) Cooper (nee Herra), Nadia (Sheldon) Elliston (nee Herra), Arlene (Andrew) Peart (nee Herra), Kam Wint, Karla Wint and Javel Asphealt.  Her eighteen Great-Grandchildren, Keith Brown, Shawna Asphealt, Sherece Asphealt, Khaleel Eccleston, Shamar Asphealt, Antonio Herra-Blackwood, Kristina Huie, Juliette Herra (pre-deceased), Jordan Brown, Aniyah Cooper, Kevoy Asphealt, Kai Wint, Kason Wint, Aidan Elliston, Adelina Peart, Avery Cooper, Amir Herra (pre-deceased), Aziah Herra.  Her only Great Great-Grandchild Layla Brown.  She will be dearly missed by her nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and many friends.  Although we are grieving deeply, we know she is with her Lord and Saviour and we will celebrate her long lived life as she is finally home.

The family will receive you at the viewing and her celebration of life service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Agincourt Church of God in her memory which is very much appreciated.
