I am deeply sad for Lain's passing. Although Lian and I worked together briefly in Duracell 20 years ago, Love of art and painting brought us very close in the past few years. Despite of our age differences, Lian had a very young heart that was full of love, passion and generosity. I still remembered that summer afternoon when we painted together in my backyard. I was painting some trees while she was painting shrubs over the stone wall. When a bird landed on the lawn, we tried to add it in our paintings spontaneously without speaking to the other. We had a big laugh when we realized it... Even after she knew she was ill, her attitude was still so positive and upbeat. She always faced everything with a big open heart as ever before. I will treasure the time we had spent together. I will miss her smile, her voice...
Lian, it was a great honor to be your friend! I love you! You will always live in my heart! May you be in peace. May you be happy.

I have many good memories of Lian when I was in working at the Ministry of the Environment with her. She had the most beautiful large orchid collection.
She had a generous spirit, willing to help others when needed.

Lian .......
我認識她, 瞬間三十年.
她曾對醫生說, "我不在乎生命長短, 只在乎生命質素".
我們欣賞的是她在學業, 事業和家庭的成就. 我們珍惜的是與她做同事時的歡樂時光和在退休後的聚會. 她為人勤奮, 平易近人. 對生命和工作充滿熱誠.
雖然她已去了一個無物質的地方. 我們仍在.....春天的微風, 夏天的陽光, 秋天的楓葉, 冬天的白雪.....感覺到她的存在和喜悦......
