Hi Gloria
I am sitting at Graceland with Otis in the late afternoon of my last day here this year.
Debora asked me if I would like to talk with you to say goodbye.
Yes I would, but it doesn’t feel like goodbye.
I think of you every day and I believe this is something I will do for the rest of my life.
Yes, I will miss our chats on the telephone and our visits. I will miss them more than I can say. You have been a wonderful friend and mother-in-law. Your acceptance and love is something I treasure.
I am so very grateful you had the courage to visit us in Cozumel last year. I am also grateful for the times you visited us at Baptiste and the many times you welcomed me into your home.
As seniors together, we have had a special bond. You need to know that your job is done now. You can relax and let go and leave everything in our care.
Gloria, I am a better man for having known you. Your Debora is safe in our care.
