Dear Juju, Christine and all the Maelzer family,
I only just received the news of your dear mother's passing and feeling your loss too. She lived for her family and welcomed everyone into her home with open arms. I have so many memories of wonderful times in your home in Byculla. She was also a rock and always had a word of encouragement and a smile no matter how tough the situation. She set such a wonderful example for us. She stayed steadfast in her faith and is now in her eternal home. May the Good Lord grant her soul eternal peace. My thoughts and prayers are with you and will join you in celebrating her life.

When they made Spence Lane Mrs. Maelzer was already a part of it, one of the originals, as they say, and Spence Lane mourns her loss.
