HENNY, ALMAN BARRINGTON GEORGE – February 25th, 1962 – July 13th, 2017 – Alman Henny passed away peacefully following a long illness at Lakeridge Health Ajax and Pickering Hospital, in his 55th year, surrounded by family and close friends. He is survived by his brother Herbert, his sisters Marie, Angela and Jennifer, his children Gianna, Matthew, Tyler and Teesha. Alman was predeceased by his parents James and Ruby Henny; sister Josephine and brother Lorenzo. He had a very special relationship with Vernice (Pat) Clarke and Marilia (Mila) Ferreira. Alman was born in St. Andrew, Jamaica but spent most of his adult life in Toronto, Ontario working in Health Care. His friends and family played a very important role in his life. He loved baseball, travelling and spending quality time with family and friends. Special thanks to the physicians and nurses at Princess Margaret and Mount Sinai Hospitals as well as the PSWs and nurses from CE-LHIN Home and Community Care. Visitation will be held at the Ogden Funeral Home, 4164 Sheppard Ave. East, Scarborough, Ontario on Friday July 21st from 3 – 5pm and 7-9pm. The Funeral Service will be held in the Ogden Chapel on Saturday July 22nd at 11am. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Princess Margaret Hospital.
