I'm so very sorry to hear of Pauls passing. I've not seen Paul in a long time but I have very fond memories of him. He was a good friend of my late brother Joe Hurst and I know they did a lot of hunting over the years at the "Farm"......Paul was a fine man and he will be missed by many.

When I think of my father, I think of the strongest man I have ever known. My ultimate protector.
As a small child my father would lift me up to touch the ceiling, only using 2 fingers and to this day It still amazes me how strong he was.
My father was so proud of his Finnish heritage and instilled that same pride in both me and my brother Tyson.
My father introduced us to the great outdoors as soon as we were born and had great pride in teaching us how to how to use the Finnish steam bath, swim, fish, hike, four wheel and dirt bike. He was an amazing horseshoe player as well.
My dad was passionate about music, specifically the blues genre and was a big fan of Lynard Skynard. We shared many similarities music and otherwise.
My father taught me several important life lessons. I truly believe my passion/career helping others, to never give up on people was strongly influenced by my father.
It is with great sadness that I flashback through all these memories. I wish I could have told him one last time that I loved him, but he already knew.

I have many fond memories of my Dad. Growing up he took interest in all the sports I played. He was at every hockey game and coached my soccer team.
I got my first job working with my Dad in the metal industry. He had great skill and offered me much advice. This led to the career path I chose.
My Dad and I shared a love of the outdoors. We had many ice fishing trips in the winter on Lake Simcoe. Our favourite place to be was the family property in Novar. We fished on Bittern Lake, rode four wheelers and smoked bass.
I rent a cottage on our old lake every year because of those memories. This summer I plan to cast off and have a fish for my Dad and remember those special times.

We are so sorry to hear about the passing of Nippy! What a terrible month this has been! We can certainly feel the pain you are going through! We haven't seen Nippy for many years - we remember him best as a child and teenager at your home in Agincourt and at the cottage near Huntsville. Life certainly deals some tough blows! We know that you are tough enough to deal with it but it will not be easy! Our condolences to the whole family - especially to Terry.
