Itinia Carter Greenidge

Passed away peacefully on 8 June, 2017 at North York General Hospital at age 84 with her daughter Monica at her side.

Daughter of Iris Goodridge and Henry Goodridge and widowed by her husband Ulric Greenidge and predeceased by her daughter Alicia Carter. She leaves behind 3 daughters. Mom is lovingly remembered by her daughter Monica Agard and her grandson Ryan Agard.

My Mom will be remembered by me always for her strength and determination to succeed and make a better life for her children in Canada. Thank you, Mom. Mom never gave up on her goal to succeed even though at times it was so difficult but she persevered so that I could succeed.

I fondly remember my Mom's sense of humour. In the last 5 years of caring for my Mom, we have shared so many laughs that I know her spirit and faith in God was never broken despite her situation. I can still "taste" my Mom's cooking- pineapple upside down cake- so good! Mom has always taken good physical care of herself and even through her illness, the caregiver and visitors would always comment on how beautiful her skin was. I can still picture Mom - stylish and beautiful.

Mom I miss you terribly but I'm comforted by the fact that you are in Heaven. I have willingly and happily spent the last 5 years caring for Mom in an effort to repay a small piece of the debt I owe. Mom I know that the debt has not been paid in full but I know that you appreciated and benefited from the great care and comfort I gave to you. Mom, I know you appreciated that I was your voice, praying for you and reading the Bible to you daily.

Mom I love you dearly and miss you so much.
