Hermitte and family,
My family and I are deeply saddened by the loss of your husband, father, brother, son, etc. No one can prepare you for a loss; it comes like a swift wind. However, take comfort in knowing that he is now resting in the arms of our Lord. Our most heartfelt condolences.
There is nothing I can say to you at this time that will give you peace and strength. However, I know one who can and will always be there for you. Prayers are what will comfort you during these difficult days. I hope these verses will provide you some comfort.

1 God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. 2 Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea,3 though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging. 4There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy place where the Most High dwells. ”
