It is with deep regret that I am unable to attend the service for Hopeton. I have fond memories of him from high school as he was very good friends with my best friend. He always wanted the best for people and tried to help them achieve it. Always positive and looking for new ways to make lives better. He indeed made this world a better place and will live in the hearts of us always. My deepest sympathies to the family and many lives he has touched over the years. May his bright spirit and kindness be a guiding light to lead us forward through the tough road ahead. God bless.

I knew Hopeton from grade school, through middle school, and high school. We lost touch, but in hearing of Hopeton's passing it still brings me sadness. Just an indication how Hopeton touched many lives despite many years between. My deepest condolences to Hopeton's family, friends, and colleagues.

Our brother Hopeton will be missed by all his friends and classmates from Midland Ave. C. I..
Although he lost his battle, he won the war...He will be remembered by all who knew and loved him as a very positive and motivated individual. I, for one, am honoured to have called him my friend!
