Obituary of Nadia Holowatyj

HOLOWATYJ, Nadia —Peacefully on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at Scarborough General Hospital at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late Gregory. Cherished mother of Maria (Behzad Pouri), Helen (Michael Rozeluk), the late Daria, Markian (Lynda) and Roman (Nadia). Loving grandmother of Daria, Taras, Natalka, Andriy, Gregory and Christopher. Nadia will be sadly missed by her family in Canada, USA and the Ukraine. The family will receive friends at the Ogden Funeral Home, 4164 Sheppard Ave. E., Scarborough (east of Kennedy Rd.), on Thursday from 6-9 p.m. with Panachyda at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Service at Sts. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Church, 1490 Markham Rd., Scarborough (north of Hwy. 401), on Friday at 10 a.m. Interment Prospect Cemetery. By family request, please refrain from wearing fragrances or sending floral arrangements that contain lillies.
