Obituary of Geoffrey Osborn

OSBORN, Alexander Geoffrey "Geoff" —August 16, 1922 - May 3, 2017Passed away at North York General Hospital in his 95th year.Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews in England and Canada.Geoff was an honoured WWII Veteran who served in Burma. He moved to Canada after the war and continued in the aviation industry until his retirement.Geoff devoted his time to Scouts Canada where he mentored many youth over the years and also was dedicated to the Burma Star Association. Geoff enjoyed the outdoors with camping and sailing and shared that interest with everyone he met.The family will receive friends at the Ogden Funeral Home, 4164 Sheppard Ave. E., Agincourt (east of Kennedy Rd.), on Sunday, May 14th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service to be held at Church of St. Andrew Anglican, 2333 Victoria Park Ave., Scarborough, on Monday at 11:00 a.m. Cremation.In lieu of flowers, donations to Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre would be appreciated by the family.
