Obituary of Herbert Keay

KEAY, Herbert Garneys - At the wonderful age of 92, passed away peacefully after a brief illness, surrounded by his family, on April 29, 2017. Herb's life was full and rewarding, a life well-lived. Beloved husband to Audrey for 68 years of marriage. Loving father to Deborah (Gus) and Tim (Sandy). Proud Grandpa to Nicholas (Connie), Ryan (Elizabeth), Sean (Diana) and Colin and Great-Grandpa to Venice. Dear Step-Grandpa to Mark and Lisa (Alec) and Step-Great-Grandpa to Zoe and Olivia. Herb will be remembered as a principled gentleman and for his quiet ways and gracious manner. He loved his family, his vocation as a Carpenter and his beloved Toronto Maple Leafs. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Visitation will be held at Ogden Funeral Homes, 4164 Sheppard Ave. E., Agincourt, on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the Ogden Chapel on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at 11 a.m. Interment at York Cemetery, 101 Senlac Rd., Toronto.
