Obituary of Sylvia Bowers

Bowers, Sylvia Colleen (nee Foeller):

It is with great sorrow we share, Sylvia passed away peacefully from this world with family at her side on Thursday April 27th, 2017.

Sylvia is survived by her loving and devoted husband Lloyd Bowers of 59 years; loving mother and mother-in-law of Debbie and John Matthews, Sherry and Mike Tompkins and Jeff and Lynn Bowers; loving grandmother and grandmother in law to Crystal and Donovan Plant, Melissa Matthews and Robert Drinkle, Ben and Jennifer Tompkins, Alex and Krystal Tompkins, Ray and Amber Tompkins, Ami Lum and Kim Nhac Le, Stanley Lum and Gordie Bell and loving Great Grandmother of Noah, Colleen, Addison, Bryson, Jaida, Ava, Amelia, Olivia, Samantha, Domenica and Stacia. 

Also survived by brother Dennis Foeller and sister-in-law Verna Tardiff and Debbie Foeller, gone but not forgotten, brothers Ronald and Brian, sister-in-law Shirley, Donnetta and Patricia, brother-in-laws, Earl, Dennis and wild Bill.

in addition, seventeen nephews and nieces (pre-deceased Karen Foeller, nee Bowers), Doran, Darla, Marlene, Tal, Carrie, Chris, Daren, Marc, Scott, Lonne, Jennifer, Lori, Theresa, Michael, Linda, Debbie and Andy and their respective spouses.

Sylvia also touched many lives that will and always will call her a true friend. To name a few of the many; Pat, Darlene, Virjaye, Janet, Rhea, Florence, Anita, Lorna, Gloria, Gord and Charlene, James and Barb and so many more. 

Sylvia who so graciously and with strenght and honour walked this earth, may she live on forver in the heavens and our hearts for all eternity.

The family will receive friends at Ogden Funeral Home, 4164 Sheppard Avenue East, Agincourt (east of Kennedy Road) on Friday May 12th, 2017 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.  and also on Saturday, May 13th  from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. Funeral Service to follow at 11:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
