Obituary of Florence Hipgrave

HIPGRAVE, Florence Jane (nee Francis) — January 23, 1923 - March 2, 2017 It is with great sadness that her family announces the passing of Florence, in her 95th year, after a brief time in The Scarborough Hospital (General Campus). Beloved wife of Walter Gordon Hipgrave. Loving mother to Pat Klassen (Murray Hedges), Susan Bain and Douglas Hipgrave (Julie Soars). Cherished grandmother to Adam Bain (Melissa), Allison Bain and the late Daniel Hipgrave and adoring great-grandmother to Jack Bain. She will be fondly remembered for her lifelong devotion to her family and friends and will be greatly missed by all those who knew her. The suffering of the last months is over and now she is at rest. According to her wishes, cremation has taken place.A Celebration of Florence's Life will be held on Thursday, March 30th at the Ogden Funeral Home, 4164 Sheppard Ave. E., Agincourt. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 2:30 p.m. in the Ogden Chapel and a reception. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Florence's memory to a charity close to your heart.
