Robert Donald (Bob) RALPHJanuary 11, 1928 to February 16, 2017Retired Teacher from the Scarborough Board of EducationIt is with broken hearts that the family of Robert "Bob" Ralph announces his sudden passing at home on Thursday, February 16, 2017. Bob is survived by his best friend and loving wife of 61 years Corky (nee McMullan) and his 2 devoted daughters Shawna McPeek (Hugh McLean) and Paula Quinn. Bob was predeceased by his parents Robert and Mary Ralph and his 3 siblings Muriel Haryett (Bus), Helen Knapp (Bert) and William "Bill" Ralph (Eirona). Bob is also survived by his sisters-in-law Alberta Fraser (Howie) and Kay McMullan (Bob), 8 nephews and 4 nieces, Bryan Ralph (Gabi), David Ralph (Sharon), Mike Ralph (Linda), Robbie Ralph (Celeste), Kent Haryett, Tory Molgat (Bob), Lindsey Barclay (Scott), Kristie Burkhart (Peter), Carrie Hughes (Steve), Steven McMullan, Scott McMullan and Robb McMullan (Gina), 23 great-nieces and nephews and 12 great-great-nieces and nephews. Bob attended Leslie Street Public School, Riverdale Collegiate and The University of Toronto Victoria College and had countless wonderful memories of each of those schools. As a teacher, Bob taught out in Longbranch, at Ryerson Public School, Parkway Vocational School for Boys and Tabor Park.Bob and Corky enjoyed many great trips together over the years and some of their favourite trips were to see live Jazz. Bob will be remembered as quite the talker who loved to tell funny stories and could tell you in great detail about events of more than 80 years ago. We want to thank the ladies who have helped look after our Mom and Dad these last 2 years. They have been our angels. Maxine, Roxanne, Imelda, Patricia, Girlie, Tina, Sabina, Amy, Geraldine and Felisa. Because of them, we have been able to keep Mom and Dad in their home of 54 years, which meant so much to Dad. Bob is resting at Ogden Funeral Home at 4164 Sheppard Ave. East (just east of Midland Ave.). There will be a visitation on Wednesday, February 22nd from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and a service at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 23rd. In lieu of flowers, please go and enjoy some live music and think of Bob. We love and miss you Daddy
