Douglas James Rae (Doug) passed away suddenly at his home in Toronto on Friday, February 10, 2017 at the age of 57.
Doug is predeceased by his mother, Norah.
Doug is survived by his precious daughter Carly and her mother Shelly. He is lovingly remembered by his father Alan (Nora Bowman), brothers John, Rob (Cathy) and Bruce (Pearl), and sister-in-law Karen Trenton (Mike). He will be fondly remembered as a special uncle to his nephew David Rae and nieces Kaitlyn Trenton, Jessica McCormack (Elliott) and Carolyn Rae.
Doug enjoyed sports, especially golf, curling, and squash. He often joked and prided himself on the fact that he knew a lot about nothing and amazed others with his ability to win at all games of trivia. He instilled his great love and passion for music to his daughter Carly and more than anything he loved spending time with her.
A Celebration of Doug's life will be held at the Donalda Club, 12 Bushbury Drive, Toronto on Wednesday, February 22nd at 3:00.
