Allan Rudolph Hing passed away on January 29, 2017. He was born in Guyana on March 27, 1946 to Frederick (deceased 1984) and Phyllis Hing (94yrs).
It was in Guyana that Allan became a Christian. In 1991 Allan moved to Canada where he later retired as a building superintendent.
In 2005 Allan married Gail, whom he had known since they were both in Guyana.
Allan will be missed and remembered by his loving and precious wife Gail. Predeceased by sister Pansy Hing (2014), Allan is survived by siblings Alicia Payne, Rosalind Tulsie, Elaine Hing, Duncan Hing, Ann Ghafur, Violet Rafeson, Gloria Overall, Marilyn Balram, Philip Hing, Susan Singh and Corinne Hing.
Allan was a long-time member of Perfect Love Tabernacle, where he also served as a treasurer. He will be remembered as a quiet, unassuming, kind-hearted and generous soul (who enjoyed his food) and was willing to go the extra mile – all often with a surprising sense of humour.
