Brooks, Robert (Bob) E.- A devoted, loving father, husband, and gentleman, passed peacefully on January 23, 2017 in his 99th year. Predeceased by his wife of 57 years, Dorothy. Beloved father of Allan (Laura), Frances (Rae Coakwell), Ken (Christine Coley), David (Cathy), Lynn, Doug (Catherine Bromilow). Grandfather of Steven (Tanya), Michelle, and Great-grandfather to Marshall, Drew, Destiny, Wyatt, and Caren. "Dad Brooks" to Pat and Lucie Landry, Shawn (Jill, Kayla), Jennifer (Danny Babcock, Jackson, Samantha), Jason (Sarah, Grayson). Bob served with the RCAF 143rd Wing and 2nd Tactical Air Force in radio operations during WWII. He returned to CIBC where he had a 43 year career, then worked as a consultant with CFIB for several years. Bob's generosity of spirit will be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched. Friends will be received at the OGDEN FUNERAL HOME 4164 Sheppard Ave E, Agincourt (east of Kennedy Rd) on Saturday February 4th, visitation 2-3 pm followed by a Service in the Ogden Chapel at 3 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
