MARILYN ROSE COUPERTHWAITE 1932 - 2016 Marilyn passed away with peace and grace on Saturday to be reunited with her loving son, Dennis and devoted husband Mel. Marilyn's spirit will be carried on by her children Sandra (Patrick) and David (Sandra), grandchildren Michael (Jennifer) and Stephanie, as well as her longtime friends. She will be deeply missed but will remain forever in the hearts of those who loved her. Mom adored her beloved city of Toronto where she was born and raised. Her knowledge and stories were always enriching to hear. Her passion for ballroom dancing, figure skating, travelling and playing bridge describe her wonderful sense of adventure and zest for life. Most of all mom, you will be remembered for your kindness, compassion, courage, strength, enthusiasm and sense of humour. As you dance now amongst the stars and shine brightly down upon us all, know that we love and miss you dearly Mops. A funeral service will be held at the OGDEN FUNERAL HOME, 4164 Sheppard Avenue East, on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 11:30 a.m., followed by a reception to celebrate her life. In lieu of flowers, please consider a gift to the Lions Foundation of Canada - Canine Vision Program, an organization and program mom was deeply committed too.
