ELLIS, Diane Marguerite —
Passed away on October 26, 2016 after a brief stay at Scarborough General Hospital. Born May 27, 1946 in Leeds, England to George W. Ellis, deceased and Doreen Charlesworth Ellis, after which the family immigrated to Toronto. Diane grew up in West Hill, attending West Hill P.S. then West Hill Collegiate Institute. She trained as a Registered Nurse at East General Hospital and earned her Bachelor's degree at York University. Diane had a long career at Rouge Valley Health System (formerly Centenary Hospital). Our Lady Di will be sadly missed by her mother Doreen, brother Michael and sister-in-law Heidi, sister Christine and brother-in-law Bernie, nieces Kathryn, Denine and Jaclyn and nephew Jarod and their partners, great-nephews Brian and Michael and many beloved friends. Service will take place on Saturday, October 29th at Ogden Funeral Homes (4164 Sheppard Ave. E.). Visitation at 1 p.m., service at 2 p.m., reception at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please give to the Rouge Valley Health System
