Obituary of Peter Campbell

CAMPBELL, Peter — March 29, 1943 – September 2, 2016It is with the saddest of hearts that we announce the sudden loss of our beloved father, Peter, husband of the late Maire Wylie. Daddy to Peter, Sharon Doran (Jamie), Martin (Kim), Brenda James (Roger) and grandpa to Aidan, Caitlin, Kieran, Brendan and Keagan. Born in Belfast to Peter and Matilda, he is predeceased by his siblings, John, Belle, Peggy, Rosemary and Elizabeth and survived by his brother Joseph. He will also be greatly missed by his many nieces, nephews and extended family in Ireland. Peter worked as a bus driver, both in Belfast and Toronto and truly enjoyed the social aspect of his job. He always had a story to tell and loved an audience. His lovely singing voice won him awards at the feis' over the years. He will be missed by his many friends in the Irish community. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., at the Ogden Funeral Home, 4164 Sheppard Avenue East, Agincourt. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Barnabas Catholic Church, 10 Washburn Way, Scarborough on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. Interment Christ the King Cemetery.
