HELEN SHAW (nee THOMPSON)
With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Helen Shaw, on April 6, 2016 at the Scarborough Grace Hospital at the wonderful age of 100 and 1/2. She was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, the eighth of nine children; was married in Toronto, Ontario, to the late Victor Grant Shaw (deceased 1974). Will be forever missed by her children Maureen (Gene Lew), Victor Grant (deceased 2006), Brian (Angela Paccione) and Margaret (Bill Harris, deceased 2007). Was the cherished grandma of five: Shannon Lew, Michael Shaw (Lisa Garafalo), David and Amanda and great-granddaughter Scarlett Shaw, Daniela Shaw (Brendan Zack) and Robert Harris (Victoria Webber). Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on April 10th at Ogden Funeral Home, 4164 Sheppard Avenue East, at Midland. Funeral will be held on April 11th at 11 a.m. at St. Timothy's Anglican Church, 4125 Sheppard Avenue East, with one hour visitation at 10 a.m., prior to the service.
