Merriel Pearl WRIGHT (MAMA PEARL)
Went peacefully at home on March 28, 2016. Mama Pearl, of St. Elizabeth, Spanish Town & Kingston, Jamaica, had recently celebrated her 100th Birthday on January 3, 2016. She is now with loving husband Charles Milton Wright with whom she shared 69 years of marriage.
Predeceased by son Kenneth Leroy and daughter Mary Ann Patricia. Survived by children, Gloria, Yvonne, Ronald (Rowena), Sheila (John), Lorna (Charles), John (Curley), Joan (Winston), Tony (Marjorie), Junior (Tanya) and Jacqueline. Loving grandmother of several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the Ogden Funeral Home, 4164 Sheppard Ave. East, Scarborough (east of Kennedy Rd.), on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Parkwoods United Church, 85 Parkwoods Village Drive, on Wednesday, April 6, at 1:00 p.m.
