HERMAN WILLIAM HODGE Peacefully, at Shepherd Lodge in Toronto in his 88th year. Herman passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2016, following a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's. Beloved husband of Dorothy of 64 years. Devoted father of Catherine (Robinson), Randy and wife Rocca and Jeff and wife Lisa. Beloved 'papa' to Christopher, Jonathan and Geoffrey; Christian and Rebecca and Matthew and Lauren. Beloved brother to Floyd (Helen), Mabel (Ken) and brother Paul (deceased). Dad will always be remembered for his love of airplanes, cars, classical music and his country roots in Eastern Ontario. Dad held a strong faith in God that guided and sustained his family through these many years. Visitation will be held at Ogden Funeral Home, 4164 Sheppard Avenue East, Scarborough, on Wednesday, March 23, 2016, 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will take place in the Ogden Funeral Home chapel on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. Interment to follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Alzheimer Society of Ontario.
