CAROL ANNE SLATER Passed away peacefully on Friday, March 4, 2016, at age 77. Predeceased by husband Edwin George. Beloved daughter of Audrie (and the late Bertil). Cherished sister of Wendy (Dennis). Devoted mother of Debra (Ray), Gregory, Bradley (Lisa) and Kevin. Loving Grammie of Matthew, Rebecca, Heather, Juliana, Daniel and Robert. Great-Grammie of Taleah, Emma, Hannah and Brooke. Longtime volunteer Girl Guides leader. Toronto District School Board Teacher's Aide, Librarian, and ESL Instructor for over 10 years. Special thanks to the outstanding staff at Harmony Hills Care Community. Memorial visitation will take place at Ogden Funeral Home, 4164 Sheppard Avenue East (east of Kennedy Road), Scarborough, on Thursday, March 10, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Memorial service will be held on Friday, March 11, at 11 a.m. in the Ogden Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations to the MS Society of Canada (mssociety.ca) in Carol's memory would be greatly appreciated.
