MacLEAN, Michael Daniel —Passed away peacefully on February 13, 2016 at the age of 59. Mike was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia on October 9, 1956 and was the beloved husband of Sharon (nee MacDonald). Loving father of Natasha (Craig) Little. Dear son of Marie and the late Ronald MacLean and brother of Laura (Greg) Zimmicki and son Andrew Walters (Karen). Cherished Poppy to Shayla and Cameron. Survived by sisters-in-law Donna (Carl) Savoy and Lola MacDonald and brothers-in-law Wayne (Dawn-Ann) and Ronnie (Teri). He is predeceased by his brothers Lawrence and Blaise and brother-in-law Kenny. Mike was co-owner of Melco Logistics and was good friends with his business partner John Federici. He also served as a firefighter with Department of National Defence. Mike will be greatly missed by all his nieces, nephews, family and friends. Thank you to the staff of the Scarborough General Hospital- Palliative Care Unit for the excellent care provided to Mike. Friends will be received by the family at the Ogden Funeral Home, 4164 Sheppard Avenue East, Agincourt on Saturday, February 20, 2016 from 1-3 p.m., with a Memorial Service at 3 p.m. in the Ogden Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Shriners Hospital or Wounded Warriors of Canada would be greatly appreciated.
