(nee FRASER)
Passed away peacefully with family and a dear friend by her side on Thursday, February 11, 2016, in her 73rd year. Together for 56 years, Joy Elizabeth Jean was the devoted wife and best friend to husband Allan, with whom she shared a lifetime of happy memories. Joy was the proud great aunt to her beloved nephew Paul (Allison) and is survived by her three brothers, George (Diane), Jim (Alberta) and John (Faye), along with many other cherished family and friends. She is predeceased by her parents, Rose and George Fraser, sister Beverly (Paul) and niece Elizabeth (Ron). Joy's family would like to extend many thanks to the doctors and staff at Scarborough Grace Hospital, with special thanks to Dr. Jackson. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service following cremation will be held on Friday, February 26th 5-9 p.m. Visitation from 5-7 p.m. and Memorial Service beginning at 7 p.m., Ogden Funeral Home, 4164 Sheppard Avenue East, in Scarborough (416-293-5211). In lieu of flowers, a donation to your preferred charity in Joy's name would be appreciated.
