Obituary of Agnes De Souza
Please share a memory of Agnes to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
It is with sadness we share the passing of our Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother – Agnes Severina De Souza. She was born, raised and married in Goa to her late husband Louis Xavier Merces De Souza and later moved to Kenya, then England and finally to Toronto, Canada where she passed away surrounded by her family at Rouge Valley Centenary Hospital the afternoon of December 12, 2015 at the age of 91. She had a great love of all living things especially her loving family, her adoring pets and her beautiful gardens. Living in four different countries helped Agnes make life long friends and get very close to family members that she always kept in touch with through her many letters and daily phone calls. Agnes was a truly social being wholoved to socialize with her family and friends while making sure everyone was ok with a genuine compassion for one and all. Agnes was very charitable in her life and would stitch clothes for those less fortunate and also feed the hungry with her excellent food dishes. She will be missed by everyone whose life she touched.
As a Mother she will forever be in the hearts of her children: Natalina (late Joseph), Pamela (Roque), Estella (Elgin), Louis and Lawrence.
She will be sincerely missed by her Grandchildren: Francis (Laurita), Anne (Valtino), Sidney, Alexander, Natasha (Nick), Jean Paul (Jennifer), Christopher.
Great Grandma will be fondly remembered by her Great Grandchildren: Ian, Victoria, Isabella, Tristan, Ella, Luca.
