In her 84th year, at The Scarborough Hospital (General). Pre-deceased by loving husband William (Bill) of 54 years and brother Jack Wilson Smith. Beryl is survived by sister-in-law Betty, sons Bill Jr. (Susan) and Blair (Paula), and daughter Beverly (Chris). Beryl will be fondly remembered by grandchildren Alex and Rachel, and her many nieces and nephews, neighbours, and friends – most of whom frequently benefitted from her vast array of cookies! Beryl was a shining example of generosity, and drew great strength from her Christian Faith. "This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it." - Psalm 118: 24. The family thanks the staff of The Scarborough Hospital for their care. Visitation will be held at Ogden Funeral Home, 4164 Sheppard Avenue East, on Wednesday, November 18th, from 6-9 p.m.. A Service of Thanksgiving and a Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, November 19th, at 11:00 a.m.. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to PLAN Canada, or to a charity of your choice.
