DEMPSEY, William (Bill) - Passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 3, 2015 at the age of 81 at Scarborough Centenary Hospital. Loving husband of Jannette (nee Smith). Devoted father of Chris and David (Shelley). Proud grandfather of Ava and Adeline. Survived by his sister Marie. Predeceased by brothers Jake, Frank, Edward and Joseph. Bill will always be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Family will receive friends at the Ogden Funeral Home, 4164 Sheppard Ave. E. (east of Kennedy Rd.), on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Barnabas Church, 10 Washburn Way (east of Markham Rd.), on Monday at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow. If desired, in lieu of flowers, donations to Society of St. Vincent de Paul, c/o St. Barnabas Conference would be greatly appreciated by the family. -
