JOHN BERNARD "JACK" DOUGLAS At the age of 86, Jack passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family on July 20, 2015. Beloved husband of Barbara (nee Hibberd). Loving father of David (Monique), Mary (Martin), Barbara (Tim), Peter (Lori) and Diane (Marie). Cherished grandfather of Andrea (Peter), Michelle, Danielle, Lisa Jean, Emma, Laura, Anne Marie, Katherine, Michael, Christopher, Sarah, John and Charlie. Dear brother of Margaret (Martin), Gerald (Joan) and the late Walter (Shirley), Paul (Helen), Alma (Ian) and Evelyn. Brother- in-law of Dave (Mary), William, Jean (George), Mary (Chuck), and Neil C.S.B. He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, friends and colleagues. Jack was a dedicated Manager in the Ontario Public Service for over 30 years with the Ministry of Transportation. He was also an avid sportsman and dedicated much of his spare time to serving his community and parish. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Ogden Funeral Home, 4164 Sheppard Avenue East (east of Kennedy). Funeral Mass will be held at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church on Thursday, July 23, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. immediately followed by a reception at the Ogden Funeral Home. Donations made to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
