Obituary of Peter Varvatsoulis

Panayote Peter Varvatsoulis After a valiant battle with cancer, on July 5th 2015, at the age of 67 Peter passed away peacefully at North York General Hospital, surrounded by the love of his family. He leaves behind his best friend and wife Katherine. Peter was a very loving and devoted father to his son George, daughter Penelope and son-in law Lazaros. His grandchildren Petros and Katerina will greatly miss their Papou Taki. He will be fondly remembered by his brothers Apostolis and Nikolas and his sisters Sofia and Soula as well as the rest of his extended family and friends in Greece. Peter was a very kind and friendly person that would leave a lasting impression on those that crossed his path. He was passionate about Greek politics and soccer but most above all, he was the most passionate about his grandchildren. He would love nothing more than having sleep overs and waking up to make them breakfast the next morning. Visitation will be held on Sunday July 12th from 6pm-9pm. Church service will be held at 10am Monday morning at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church with burial to follow immediately after service at Elgin Mills Cemetery.
