PESNYAK, Steven Michael Known to his buddies as Butch and to his sisters as Stevie, tragically lost his life on May 25, 2015 in Markham. Born the only son of Ann (Hogya) and Steve Pesnyak (both deceased) on November 3, 1956. Survived by his wife Terri (Young) and his sons Michael and Nicholas. Dear brother of Carol (Bill), Betsy (Gary) and Bernadette (Mike). Favourite uncle to Daniel and Adam Cox, Justin Scott, Charlotte and Emma Nevins, Sean and Liam Murphy, Amanda and Kyle Thornley and Zack Young. Son-in-law of Bill and Helen Young, brother-in-law of Rob Young and Joanne (Glenn) Thornley. Nephew of Martha and Henry Koss, Nick and Trudy Hogya and Helen Czirjak. An Agincourt boy, formerly of Stouffville, always had a special fondness for Eels Lake. A Carpenter by trade, his work career was construction. He loved to dance, tell a good story, ride his Harley, cook to Hungarian music and he loved his family. Arrangements through Ogden Funeral Home, Agincourt. Cremation has already taken place. His spirit will be freed at Eels Lake. A casual gathering to meet with family will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 73, 2 Robinson Ave. in Scarborough at 11:30 a.m. Memorial Celebration to follow at 12:30 p.m., Monday June 1, 2015. Messages of condolence can be sent to Steve's Facebook page. Donations would be appreciated in Steve's memory to CAMH Foundation.
